The retreat will consist of both sitting and walking meditations.
A Senior Meditation Teacher at the Centre will give a mid-day
dhamma talk followed by Q & A. Bring a notebook if you wish.
A Burmese-style meal will be offered to participants at 10:30 am.

Teacher, and participating yogis (with the cultural translation of the
retreat, help explaining protocol, technique questions, and other
general help) will be:

Practice at Mahasi Sasana Yeiktha is a rare and precious opportunity.
Yogis are asked to enter their retreat with open-heartedness, to
practice with purpose and dignity, and to display kindness and
high-respect for all during their time at the Center.
The retreat is freely offered by the Buddha Sasana Nuggaha
Organization, the executive body that runs the meditation centre.
At the end of the retreat if one wishes to offer dana – a contribution
of any amount – they can do so in the foyer of the hall before leaving.
In addition, we are offering a ten day Wisdom of Mindfulness
